Job summary

Itron is seeking an accounting professional to support the NAM manufacturing accounting functions, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and close activities.

You will help ensure U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance, maintain robust internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive operational excellence and digital transformation within a manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Support NAM inventory and royalty accounting, including GL entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in line with the global close calendar using Oracle ERP/EPM tools.
• Apply accounting policies and internal controls to ensure GAAP/SOX compliance.
• Maintain well-documented records and provide audit-ready documentation for quarterly and annual reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and process improvements.
