Job summary

Itron is seeking an accounting professional to support NAM manufacturing accounting functions, reporting to the NAM manager. You will help maintain a robust control environment, contribute to SOX compliance, and apply U.S.

GAAP policies across inventory, royalty, and close processes. Responsibilities include GL entries, reconciliations, monthly closes, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal-controls design.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Highly collaborative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support NAM inventory and royalty accounting, including GL entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Close monthly, quarterly, and annual periods using Oracle ERP and EPM tools.
• Apply U.S. GAAP, SOX, and corporate controls to maintain compliance.
• Maintain documented accounting records, controls, and audit evidence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Participate in continuous-improvement and process-automation initiatives.
