SOFTSWISS is seeking a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our team, focusing on the Game Aggregator platform. You will own QA for your product team from strategy to release, working with microservice-based systems and data-heavy environments.

• 4+ years in QA of server-side / backend applications.
• Strong test design & analysis; risk-based prioritization.
• Systematic mindset with proven QA process improvements.
• Hands-on with microservice-based systems; understand trade-offs.
• API testing using Postman and REST APIs.
• CI/CD pipelines and GitLab CI knowledge.
• Bug tracking with Jira and structured defect management.
• Strong troubleshooting across frontend, backend, data, and infra.
• Experience with logs/observability tools like ELK & Grafana.
• English and Russian at Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.

Overview:

SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join ourteam. We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

About Product:

The SOFTSWISS Game Aggregator is a high-load casino games API platform that connects operator platforms to multiple remote game servers via a single integration.

Behind the product is a team of engineers, DevOps specialists, integration experts, account managers, and partnership professionals who ensure reliable, secure, and scalable operations for operators worldwide. You'll solve complex technical challenges and help power one of the industry's leading aggregation platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Own QA for your product team end-to-end: test strategy, checklists, test cases, etc.

• Measure product quality with meaningful QA metrics and indicators (not vanity numbers)

• Report QA status, risks, and plans to your team and product stakeholders

• Review feature requirements early; surface gaps, ambiguities, and risks before development

• Lead releases as the responsible QA; monitor deploy results in production

• Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution

• Validate data directly in the databases- you will work with databases on daily as part of this role

• Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and business

• Give product demos to the Product Owner

• Research and adopt new QA approaches and tools, including AI-assisted QA(agents, skills) to speed up routine work

• Continuously improve the team’s QA process

Required Experience:

• 4+ yearsin QA of server-side / backend applications

• Strong test design & analysis- risk-based prioritization, solid test-design techniques, and exploratory testing

• Systematic mindset and independence- proven experience improving QA processes and driving them, comfortable in a mixed Scrum / non-Scrum environment

• Strong hands-on experience with microservice-based systems-this is the core of the role. You understand the trade-offs of microservice architecture (pros and cons)

• API testing- confident with Postman and REST APIs

• CI/CD- understands pipelines and can read them (GitLab CI)

• Bug tracking- Jira, structured defect management and reporting

• Strong troubleshooting- can localize a failure (frontend vs backend vs data vs infra)

• Logs / observability- able to investigate via ELK / Grafana

• English / Russian - Upper-Intermediate (B2)or higher; good communication skills

Nice to have:

• Prior ClickHouseexperience

• Web UI testingand familiarity withdesign systems(component libraries)

• Test automation tools- experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies

• AI for QA productivity- using agents / skills / LLM tooling to automate and speed up routine work

• Product / iGaming domainexperience
