The Manual Process Clerk (temporary) will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the production team within a new manufacturing area. This position will collect, verify, enter, and maintain production related data, monitor process documentation, and support production activities through accurate recordkeeping and reporting. The candidate will spend time on the production floor observing processes, gathering operational information, and ensuring that all production records are completed and maintained in accordance with company standards.
This is a temporary assignment intended to support the startup, monitoring, and optimization of the new manufacturing area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and maintain production records and documentation.
- Perform accurate data entry of production information into company systems and databases.
- Monitor production paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct routine observations of production activities and workflows.
- Verify production data, including output, downtime, scrap, and labor information.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Support the implementation and startup activities of the new production line.
- Maintain filing systems for production records, batch records, and process documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Operations personnel to obtain required information.
- Assist in updating standard operating procedures, forms, and work instructions.
- Identify discrepancies in data and communicate findings to management.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of production records.
- Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Perform other administrative and operational support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in data entry, clerical, manufacturing, or administrative support functions preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production reporting preferred.
- Bilingual- English and Spanish.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout production areas as needed.
- Ability to use computer equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, on-site position.
- Frequent interaction with manufacturing personnel and production equipment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in production areas.

- Support the launch and daily operation of the new production line through data collection and reporting.
- Monitor production activities and ensure accurate documentation of process information.
- Assist management with production tracking, performance monitoring, and process documentation.
- Maintain accurate records to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
