• Monitor the machining process to ensure quality and precision.
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Inspect finished products using inspection tools (calipers, mics, etc).

Position Description:Manual operators may work with a variety of tools and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, drilling presses, and grinders. They may use these tools to cut, sand, drill, face, and turn materials to manufacture or repair parts.

• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Inspect the workstation to ensure that the machine and other equipment are in working order, set up machine and load materials into it.
• Pay attention to tool settings to remain within tolerances.
• Adjust controls to correct for variations in tool settings.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure quality and precision
• Make adjustments to the machine settings as needed.
