Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance using checklist.
• Verify settings for special process approvals.

Position Description:

An EDM operator is needed to operate the sinker/wire EDM machines. This is a 2 nd shift position, Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am. This position receives a 20% shift differential.

• Change and set electrodes
• Read micrometers, calipers, indicators, and comparator
• Use and check various fixtures
• Identify alarm codes
• Start and stop machine
• Identify and correct machine operational problems
• Know and understand the ISO 9001/AS 9100 and Nadcap procedures and requirements
• Perform daily maintenance using a checklist
• Verify settings for special process approvals
• Communicate any questions and verify completeness and accuracy
• Understand, use, and follow work instructions
