Qualifications

• Proven experience as a manual machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with knee mills, rollers, and flex-arm drilling and tapping equipment.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools: calipers, depth micrometers, squares, chamfer gauges, gauge pins.
• Experience verifying parts to print and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual machining operations including drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, and counterboring.
• Set up and operate knee mills, rollers, and flex-arm drilling and tapping equipment.
• Read, interpret, and work from complex engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Verify part dimensions and quality using precision measuring tools.
• Track labor and log job completion in the labor tracking system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate status or issues with leads, supervisors, and quality personnel.
• Support continuous improvement related to quality, efficiency, and safety.
