Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Machinist in Missouri to fabricate, install, and maintain shop machinery. You will use precision tools to measure and set up components, monitor machining operations, and perform routine maintenance.

The role requires 1–3+ years of manual machining experience and the ability to work OT as needed. You should have a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of manual machining experience.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals.
• Willing to work OT on weekends/holidays.
• Proficient with MS Office on tablets/ PCs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, erect, install, and maintain shop machinery.
• Measure dimensions and tolerances with precision instruments.
• Set up and adjust machines and fixtures for production runs.
• Monitor feeds and speeds during machining process.
• Machine parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, shapers or grinders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment.
