Job Title: Manual Machinist

Pay: $16/hour

Location: Tulsa, OK

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary)

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Manual Machinist to join our team in Tulsa. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining a variety of manual machine shop equipment. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate all machines in the machine shop

· Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment

· Provide and utilize personal hand tools required for machine operation

· Collaborate with the operations supervisor to repair or remanufacture obsolete parts

· Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks

· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures

· Perform other duties as directed by the operations supervisor

Qualifications & Skills:

· Experience with grinders and MIG/TIG welding equipment

· Ability to read blueprints and use close-tolerance measuring instruments

· Strong communication skills

· Proven ability to work with minimal supervision

Physical Demands:

· Stand for extended periods

· Bend, kneel, stoop, and lift 50+ pounds regularly

Work Environment:

· Steel-toed boots required

· Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, around moving equipment and electric tools

· Exposure to moderate to high noise levels in shop areas
