Job summary

HANCO LTD in Lawrence, PA is seeking a Manual Machinist to operate lathes, HBMs and vertical boring mills, read blueprints and manufacture parts from raw materials.

You will measure and record dimensions with calibrated tools, produce drawings for documentation, and maintain inventory of supplies. This full-time role offers 7am–3:30pm, with benefits including 401(k) matching, health and vision insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Operate manual machines: lathes, HBMs and vertical boring mills.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Measure and record dimensions with calibrated measuring tools.
• Make new parts from raw materials.
• Make parts from both samples and prints.
• Machine welded components back to specifications.
• Produce drawings for documentation and future use.
• Order machinery supplies and maintain inventory.

- Ability to operate manual machines: Lathes, HBM’s and Vertical Boring Mills.

- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

- Proven experience in measuring and recording dimensions accurately with calibrated measuring tools.

- Make new parts from raw materials

- Make parts from both samples and prints

- Machine welded components back to specifications.

- Produce drawings for documentation and future use

- Order machinery supplies and maintain necessary inventory

Job Type: Full-time - Regular work hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F

Experience:

• Machining Experience: 3 years minimum

$24 - $29Hourly Wage
