Job summary

EnerStaff LLC in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Manual Machinist for a temp-to-hire role. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with VTL, manual lathe, drill press, and milling machines, and can read technical drawings and blueprints.

Manual Machinist (Temp-to-Hire)

Location:New Iberia, LA 70560

Pay:$28-$32 DOE

Shift:7am-4pm M-F, O-T as needed (40-70 hrs/ week)

Candidate should have experience with:

• VTL
• Manual Lathe
• Drill Press
• Bridgeport Knee Mill
• Horizontal Boring Mill (48x30\" BT 50 Holder)
• Experience with compressor component repairsandoverhauls a plus
• Must be able to createown set up
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Ability to work in metric a plus
• Have own tools a plus but not required
• Adhere to company safety policies and industry standards to promote a safe working environment.
• Background check and drug screen required
