Job summary

Integrity Trade Services, LLC is hiring a Manual Machinist to set up and operate manual lathes and mills, manufacture and repair components to blueprints, and ensure quality through precise measurement.

Qualifications

• Certificate or degree in Machine Shop Technology or related technical field preferred.
• At least five years of manual machining experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience using precision measuring and metrology tools in production or repair settings.
• Equivalent education/experience considered with demonstrated competency.
• Ability to reference machinist formulas, speeds and feeds from a handbook.
• Experience operating manual lathes, Bridgeport‑style mills, broaching, slotting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other tools to produce parts per blueprints and specs.
• Read blueprints, sketches, samples, and instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Machine, fit, and assemble components into assemblies.
• Inspect parts with metrology tools to ensure spec conformance.
• Fabricate and install machined replacement parts for machinery and equipment.
• Maintain focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Complete projects efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Overtime as needed.

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Manual Machinist for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $25-$30/hr DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

The Manual Machinist will set up and operate a variety of manual machine tools to manufacture, repair, and modify components according to blueprints, sketches, samples, and verbal instructions. This hands‑on role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision measurement skills, and a commitment to producing high‑quality work in a safe manufacturing environment.

• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other manual machine tools to produce parts and components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, samples, and verbal instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Machine, fit, and assemble individual components into completed assemblies.
• Inspect and measure parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
• Fabricate and install machined replacement parts for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Develop basic part specifications and create sketches from descriptions of components to be fabricated.
• Use appropriate measuring instruments and metrology equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and finished‑part quality.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality inspection, continuous improvement, workplace safety, and safe work practices.
• Complete assigned projects efficiently, accurately, and with minimal supervision.
• Overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certificate or degree in Machine Shop Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• At least five years of manual machining experience, preferably in a machine shop, manufacturing, or related industrial environment.
• Experience using precision measurement and metrology tools in a production or repair setting.
• An equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience may be considered when the candidate can demonstrate competency in the role.
• Ability to use a machinist handbook to reference formulas, calculate speeds and feeds, and identify materials and fasteners.
• Experience operating manual lathes, Bridgeport-style mills, broaching equipment, slotting machines, and related manual machining equipment.
• Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, gauge blocks, dimensional gauges, and other precision measuring devices.
• Familiarity with manual and powered hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving ability.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with a production or maintenance team.
• Self‑motivated and dependable, with the ability to take projects from initial setup through completion with limited oversight.
