Job Requirements

Krueger Bearings is growing, and we are seeking experienced Manual Mill/Drill Machinists for 1st or 2nd shift, full-time or part-time. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on prototypes and figuring out new jobs independently. A background in Tool and Die work is a good fit. We operate in a "job shop" environment with small quantity orders, requiring employees to set up their own machines, read blueprints, and interpret job routings.

Qualifications

1. Experience with Bridgeport Mill machines is preferred.
2. Ability to set up, adjust, program, and operate milling and drilling machines with close tolerances.
3. Proficiency in using jigs, fixtures, clamps, and other tooling.
4. Skill in selecting, preparing, and installing tooling.
5. Ability to adjust speeds, feeds, and operational sequences as needed.
6. Experience working from blueprints, routings, and process sheets.
7. Strong shop math skills to compute angles, radii, and other dimensions.
8. Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
