KMB Metals (under the Merritt family of companies) in Willoughby, OH is hiring a Manual Machinist to contribute to high-end interiors for luxury projects. You will read blueprints, set up and operate manual mills, lathes and related equipment to fabricate precision components.

Ideal candidates have strong machining experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment. Hours are 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, with 4×10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Manual machining experience required (manual mills, lathes, drill presses, etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints and precision measurements
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and work orders.
• Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, drill presses, and other manual equipment to fabricate components.
• Perform accurate measurements and maintain tight tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts and use precision measuring instruments and hand tools safely.

NOW HIRING: Manual Machinist (Willoughby, OH)

6:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday – Thursday (4×10-hour shifts)

We are seeking experienced Manual Machinists with strong machining and precision manufacturing skills. Responsibilities include reading blueprints and work orders, setting up and operating manual mills, lathes, drill presses, and other manual machining equipment to fabricate precision components. Candidates should be able to perform accurate measurements, maintain tight tolerances, inspect finished parts, and safely use precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
