QEIS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our fabrication shop team in Fountain Inn, SC. This position is responsible for producing precision components using manual mills, lathes, and other shop equipment. The ideal candidate has strong machining knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machining equipment, including lathes and mills
• Select appropriate tooling and set speeds/feeds based on materials and equipment
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
• Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision tools
• Perform maintenance and troubleshoot manual machining equipment
• Utilize the metric measurement system proficiently
• Maintain high attention to detail and ensure quality control
• Follow safety protocols and best practices in machining environments
• Previous experience in fabrication or manufacturing is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is preferred
