* Set up and operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and other machinery for precision parts production. Extensive knowledge of machine tool practices is preferred.
* Proficient in measuring equipment and techniques, with a strong understanding of math including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Knowledge of the metric system is a plus.
* Understanding of tolerances, including geometric tolerancing.
* Ability to perform under pressure, especially during equipment breakdowns.
* Aim to optimize costs by minimizing scrap and waste during production.
Starting pay is $33.61 per hour.
