Mission:

1. Set up and operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and other equipment for producing precision parts.
2. Possess extensive knowledge of machine tool practices.
3. Utilize all measuring equipment and techniques, with a strong understanding of math including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Knowledge of the metric system is a plus.
4. Understand and apply geometric tolerancing and other tolerance requirements.
5. Perform under pressure during equipment breakdowns.
6. Optimize costs by minimizing scrap and waste during production.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a manual machining environment.
• 2-year Associate Degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent training.
• Machining skills acquired through military service are also acceptable.

Compensation: Starting pay is $33.61 per hour.
