Job summary

Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. in Richmond, IL is seeking a Manual Machine Operator I to support milling operations on the 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm).

You will set up and run manual milling machines and assist with tooling, while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Required: high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of machining experience; ability to read production drawings and use measuring devices; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years machining experience.
• Ability to read production drawings and interpret specifications.
• Knowledge of feed, speeds, and chip load for machining operations.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-site in Richmond, IL.
• Ability to read measuring devices and ensure conformance to orders.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and runs manual milling machines; adjusts offsets as needed.
• Maintains a neat and organized work area.
• Loads and unloads parts on machine with crane.
• Assists with program, tooling, or machine issues as needed.
• Completes required quality documentation.
