You will read technical drawings, perform micrometer- and caliper-based inspections, and collaborate with welders and fitters to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set Up & Operate Manual Lathes: Machine pipe ends and metal parts to exact specs.
• Read Technical Drawings: Interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Precision Machining: Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Pipe Beveling & Threading: Perform beveling and threading on large-diameter pipes.
• Tool Maintenance: Keep lathe tools sharp, calibrated, and safe to use.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished components and document measurements.
• Team Collaboration: Work with welders, fitters, and supervisors to meet goals.
