Closets by Design is seeking a motivated General Laborer to join our Manufacturing team in Manassas, VA. The role involves working in a woodworking shop, operating machinery and hand tools, and following established assembly standards to produce custom closet systems and home organization products.

The position emphasizes quality, safety, and efficiency, with a Monday–Friday schedule, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for cross-training on a variety of woodworking machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems), but not required.
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality and safety standards.
• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.
• Understand cut lists and project drawings for daily jobs.
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.
