Job summary

The New School's Mannes School of Music Dean's Office seeks a motivated student to serve as the Mannes Dean's Office Student Assistant. This on-campus role supports the Mannes Academics area and reports to the Program and Administration Manager, ideal for someone pursuing music performance or education.

Open to students with Federal Work Study awards; duties include technology setup, equipment delivery/receipt, and general administrative tasks with additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Current student in Mannes (BM, MM, or PDPL).
• Previous administrative experience.
• Recipient of Federal Work Study award.
• Preferred: current student in a College of Performing Arts degree program.

Responsibilities

• Set up classroom technology, assisting faculty with login and file access.
• Coordinate with the Technical Services Office to set up and return loaned gear.
• Provide general Mannes Dean's Office support, including delivering/receiving equipment and scores.
• Additional duties as assigned.
