Job summary

The New School seeks a Mannes Dean’s Office Student Assistant to support administration and classroom technology tasks in the Mannes School of Music. Reporting to the Program and Administration Manager, this role is ideal for students pursuing music performance or education careers.

Open to Federal Work Study recipients, on-campus with light weekly hours. Responsibilities include setting up classroom tech, assisting faculty, and delivering scores and equipment.

Qualifications

• Current Mannes student (BM, MM, or PDPL).
• Previous administrative experience.
• Recipient of Federal Work Study award.

Responsibilities

• Set up classroom technology and assist faculty with login and file access.
• Coordinate with the Technical Services Office to retrieve, configure, and return loaned gear.
• Provide general administrative support to the Mannes Dean’s Office, including delivering/receiving equipment and scores.
• Additional duties as assigned.
