Job summary

Uwill is seeking bilingual therapists to provide Mandarin-language teletherapy to students at partner institutions. This role is a 1099 independent contractor with flexible scheduling, offering sessions by video, phone, or chat.

Join a team delivering immediacy and personalized care for student mental health, with continued professional development and multi-state support. Candidates must hold a Master’s in a mental-health field and an active license for unsupervised practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental-health field.
• At least 2 years of telehealth therapy experience using various modalities.
• Independent clinical license allowing unsupervised practice (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD).
• Comfortable supporting students in Mandarin.
• Current professional liability insurance.
• HIPAA-compliant private workspace for telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active clinical caseload from initial session through graduation from care.
• Conduct therapy sessions via video, telephone, or chat.
• Apply evidence-based therapeutic practices and tailored SMART goals.
• Provide culturally competent care to a diverse student base including LGBTQ+ students.
• Assess risk and coordinate with Uwill Clinical Support as needed.
• Document sessions within time frame expectations.
• Respond to student messages in a timely manner.
