Job summary

R.O.B.O. is seeking a hands-on Siemens PLC engineer to support on-site operation, maintenance, and commissioning at a customer facility in the United States.

The role requires Chinese language proficiency to work daily with Chinese-speaking team leaders and to keep automated conveyor and material-handling systems running reliably. You will program and troubleshoot Siemens PLC logic using TIA Portal, diagnose faults across PLCs, sensors, drives and networks, and collaborate with US staff to

Qualifications

• Fluent spoken Chinese for daily technical communication on-site.
• Hands-on Siemens PLC experience (S7-1200 / S7-1500).
• Practical experience programming and online debugging with TIA Portal.
• Available to stay in the US for 3+ months.
• Good troubleshooting skills in a live production environment.
• Working English for discussing with staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site operations and maintenance support for PLC-controlled automation systems.
• Program, modify, troubleshoot and optimize Siemens PLC logic using TIA Portal.
• Diagnose and fix faults in PLCs, field devices, sensors, drives and networks.
• Perform integration testing and commissioning between conveyors, AGV systems and subsystems.
• Communicate in Chinese and English with the customer team leaders and local staff.
• Keep records of changes, fault logs, and maintenance work; write handover reports.
• Train customer operators and maintenance staff when needed.
• Support system upgrades, performance tuning and acceptance testing.
