Job summary
VisiConsult X-ray Systems & Solutions GmbH is seeking a Field Automation Engineer (m/f/d) - PLC & Robotics in the US to support customers by integrating complex automation solutions. You will troubleshoot, commission, and optimize PLCs and robotic systems on-site and remotely.
You should have a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, hands-on PLC experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), robotics knowledge, and strong English communication skills.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering required or preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a similar position is a plus.
- Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and robotic systems is preferred.
- Excellent English and strong troubleshooting skills for technical environments.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, drive and robotics issues on-site.
- Commission, integrate, and modify PLCs and robotic systems.
- Perform diagnostics and optimize system performance.
- Maintain robotic systems at customer locations.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support and train customers.
- Collaborate with teams in the US and Germany for system reliability.
- Train and assist customers in system functionality and troubleshooting.
