Job summary

CW Bearing USA, Inc. is seeking a motivated Controls Engineer/PLC Automation Technician to support development, programming, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Siemens and Omron manufacturing systems.

The role partners with engineering, production, and maintenance to improve machine performance and resolve control issues. The ideal candidate has hands-on PLC experience, electrical schematics knowledge, and experience with AutoCAD and networked automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is a plus.
• Experience integrating PLC and CNC controls on machine tool systems is highly desired.
• Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills and strong electrical controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into departmental strategic goals and support traceability systems.
• Configure and test PCs for material handling automation.
• Create, maintain, and support PLC and HMI systems.
• Lead electrical and control system troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
