Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a procurement and logistics coordinator to serve as the day-to-day liaison with Asian suppliers in Mandarin. You will place and confirm orders, monitor production, and chase run dates to ensure on-time delivery.

You will also manage ocean bookings, container tracking, and customs clearance while producing regular reports on orders and supplier payments. Strong cross-functional communication and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Mandarin language proficiency required for daily supplier communications.
• Experience coordinating procurement and logistics activities.
• Ability to prepare and distribute regular status reports.
• Strong organizational and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the day-to-day contact for Asian suppliers, working in Mandarin.
• Place and confirm orders, track production and chase run dates.
• Communicate changes in production and transportation across the organization.
• Manage ocean bookings and container tracking, and oversee customs clearance.
• Create and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on customer and supplier orders.
• Monitor supplier payments and assist with supplier down-payment reconciliation.
• Collect and manage COAs, product specifications and supplier test data.
• Build claims documentation, including the photo and video evidence suppliers required.
