Job summary

MornstAir is seeking a Logistics Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead warehouse, yard, fleet, and materials logistics for construction projects. You will ensure materials, tools, and equipment arrive safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will provide hands-on leadership for daily operations and plan capacity, staffing, fleet, vendor, and technology needs to support the project pipeline. Strong coordination with PMs and field teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years warehouse or logistics experience in a project-based environment.
• Experience leading and developing teams, including hiring and training.
• Experience with logistics planning, budgeting, and cost control.
• OSHA knowledge and safe material-handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term logistics plans aligned with project schedules and company growth.
• Forecast material, equipment, fleet, capacity, and staffing needs with project teams and procurement.
• Oversee daily warehouse, yard, inventory, fleet, staging, and dispatch operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate job-site deliveries around access restrictions and unloading requirements.
• Work with project managers, superintendents, procurement, and field teams to prevent delays.
• Identify operational risks and develop contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, equipment-safety, and hazmat requirements.
• Prepare and manage the logistics budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs like on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.
• Lead logistics staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Provide leadership updates with data-supported recommendations.
