Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid and current certification as a Certified Court Interpreter in Mandarin, as issued by the Judicial Council of California.
• Applicants who do not have the Judicial Council interpreter certification will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpreting in court proceedings.
• Assist court staff with interpreting in customer service settings and provide sight translations as needed.
• Work in a courtroom or office setting with judges, court staff, attorneys, and the public.
