Job summary

Intermittent Interpreters work in courtrooms or offices with significant contact with judges, staff, attorneys and the public.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid and current certification as a Certified Court Interpreter in Tagalog, as issued by the Judicial Council of California.

Responsibilities

• Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpreting during court proceedings.
• Assist court staff with interpreting in customer service settings and sight translations as needed.
• Work in courtroom or office settings with judges, court staff, attorneys, and the public.
