Job description

Sodexo Healthcare is currently searching for a Managing Sales VP - Hospitals. Responsible for leading sales and business development activities and territory sales teams within the Healthcare Segment, reporting to the Chief Sales Officer for Healthcare/Seniors. Advising the business on the development and evolution of the segment's go-to-market strategy, developing sales approaches and resources, and leading strategic bids to achieve economic and commercial performance.

This is a remote role, ideally based in the Southwest Region, close to a major airport. The position requires 30-65% travel.

What You'll Do
  • Create a positive, collaborative sales team culture; lead and mentor sales executives to achieve growth, performance, and professional fulfillment.
  • Drive growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand and renew business; lead complex deal teams, respond to RFPs, and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Navigate and lead within a cross-functional matrix organization; foster relationships with operations, marketing, HR, and finance teams.
  • Develop partnerships with hospital C-suite executives to create customized managed contract services.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive positioning, and healthcare regulations, informing business decisions.
  • Utilize digital sales tools effectively to enhance visibility, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and proactive issue resolution.
  • Support contract negotiations, tailoring terms to client needs.
  • Address internal and external challenges as a problem solver, ensuring smooth sales processes and organizational alignment.
