Role Overview

Sodexo Healthcare is currently seeking a Managing Sales VP - Hospitals. This role involves leading sales and business development activities within the Healthcare Segment, overseeing territory sales teams, and reporting to the Chief Sales Officer for Healthcare/Seniors. The position includes advising on the segment's Go-to-Market strategy, developing sales approaches, and leading strategic bids to meet economic and commercial goals.

This is a remote role, ideally based in the Southwest U.S., near a major airport. Travel requirements are estimated at 30-65%.

What You'll Do
  1. Create a positive, collaborative sales team culture—lead and mentor sales executives to achieve growth, success, and professional fulfillment.
  2. Drive growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand and renew business; lead complex deal negotiations and respond to RFPs for new and existing clients.
  3. Navigate and lead within a cross-functional matrix organization, fostering relationships with operations, marketing, HR, and finance teams.
  4. Develop partnerships with hospital C-suite executives and decision-makers for complex managed service contracts.
  5. Analyze market data, industry trends, and healthcare regulations to inform business strategies and provide thought leadership.
  6. Utilize digital tools effectively for sales visibility, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
  7. Maintain and strengthen client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns proactively.
  8. Support and lead contract negotiations, tailoring terms to client needs.
  9. Act as a problem solver to resolve internal and external challenges, ensuring smooth processes across the organization.
