Latin American Youth Center, Inc. seeks a Managing Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all LAYC/MMYC programs in Prince George’s County, DC area.

The role reports to the Chief Programs Officer (CPO) and focuses on high-quality services, data-driven outcomes, staff supervision, and community partnerships. Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a nonprofit management role.
• Experience working with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all Prince George’s County programs and ensure alignment with mission and goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop managers and staff to foster accountability and high performance.
• Drive program excellence and innovation by identifying needs and supporting new development.
• Represent and advocate for LAYC/MMYC with partners and stakeholders to advance youth initiatives.
• Partner with grants and data teams to secure funding and monitor outcomes.
• Oversee budget management and fiscal accountability and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain strong external relationships with funders and agencies.
• Champion data-driven decision-making to improve outcomes and guide growth.
• Promote staff development and create a positive organizational culture.
• Lead as a proactive, solution-oriented leader driving high-quality outcomes.
