Job summary

GA Group is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Transaction Advisory Services practice in a designated market. The role focuses on strategy, growth, and delivering high-quality TAS engagements for private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporate clients.

The candidate will originate new work, build a strong local book of business, recruit and mentor teams, and partner with national leadership to scale the practice across markets.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, Quality of Earnings, accounting advisory, investment banking, or related fields.
• Significant experience leading Quality of Earnings engagements and managing client engagements.
• Proven ability to originate, win, and expand client engagements and build senior relationships.
• Executive-level presence with ability to interact credibly with C-suite and PE professionals.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership within a growing platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the TAS practice strategy, growth, and market presence in the designated region.
• Originate TAS engagements and manage end-to-end delivery with quality and profitability.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporate clients.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor local teams including Directors, Managers, and Associates.
• Collaborate with national practice leadership to share resources and ensure consistent client experience.
