Pathward, a hybrid, remote-office company, seeks a Managing Director, Business Development to drive strategic growth, expand market opportunities, and forge high-value partnerships across tax, fintech, and financial services.

You will lead negotiations, build pipelines, collaborate across Sales, Product, Compliance and Marketing, and serve as a tax industry expert to shape strategy and revenue.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive business development or strategic partnerships with revenue impact.
• 5+ years leading complex strategic partnerships, channel development or enterprise sales.
• Strong understanding of tax preparation ecosystem and related financial services.
• Proven track record developing growth plans and go-to-market strategies.
• Experience with financial analyses, contract negotiations, and planning.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and expands strategic opportunities driving growth for tax-related products and services.
• Builds relationships with tax firms, software providers, and industry partners.
• Develops and executes strategies to increase product adoption and revenue.
• Negotiates and manages partnerships aligned with profitability targets.
• Maintains a robust pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
• Collaborates with Sales, Operations, Product, Compliance, Marketing and Leadership.
