Advisors Excel is seeking a Managing Director to lead strategic equity investment partnerships with independent financial advisory firms within our network. You will own deal execution, partner onboarding, and provide strategic advisory to founders, working closely with leadership teams to grow and scale partner firms.

The role is hybrid, split between Topeka and Lenexa offices. This senior position requires 5–10+ years in wealth management or related fields and a track record of driving growth,

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in wealth management, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or advisor-focused partnerships.
• Proven experience leading transaction execution, including structuring, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Strong financial acumen, including valuation, financial modeling, and deal analysis.
• Experience working directly with founders, entrepreneurs, or executive leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of partnership opportunities from sourcing to qualified deal.
• Lead structuring and negotiation of minority equity investments and strategic capital partnerships.
• Drive end-to-end transaction execution, including due diligence, valuation, and closing.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with founders and leadership teams.
