Job summary

State Street is seeking a Managing Director, Security Architect to define and lead the firm’s horizontal security architecture across AI security, data protection, cryptography, and PQC. You will report to the SVP, Data & AI Security and influence senior leaders while driving secure-by-design patterns across all four domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and steward enterprise security architecture across AI Security, Data Protection, Cryptography, and PQC.
• Lead cryptographic architecture including encryption, key management, and PQC roadmap.
• Set AI security architecture direction for secure-by-default patterns and governance of GenAI tooling.
