Job summary

State Street is seeking an Information Security Architect with deep expertise in data protection to join our security team in the United States. You will design and implement data protection architectures across data at rest, in motion, and in use, aligning with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include developing cryptographic solutions, deploying DSPM/CASB/SSPM technologies, and guiding risk assessments, audits, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of information security experience with security architecture focus.
• Experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or similar.
• Deep knowledge of cryptography and data protection architectures.
• Experience with DSPM, CASB, and SSPM.
• Strong network security, cloud security, and information assurance.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and maintain the security architecture for data protection across its lifecycle.
• Develop and implement security models and frameworks for data at rest, in motion, and in use.
• Design and deploy cryptographic solutions and protocols for data protection and compliance.
• Develop and enforce policies for secure data handling, transfer, and storage using DSPM, CASB, SSPM.
• Ensure architectures align with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits of data protection measures for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to design procedures and response plans.
• Implement continuous monitoring for data usage and anomaly detection.
• Engage with IT, legal, and compliance to integrate security measures smoothly.
