Job summary

Barings is seeking a Managing Director to lead Product Strategy & Management, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The role owns the end-to-end product agenda across Barings' public and private asset classes.

The successful candidate will lead a single product organization that brings together product development and management with product strategy across global markets, including governance and pricing frameworks, to serve institutional, insurance and wealth clients.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of asset management experience in product management or strategy.
• Breadth across public and private markets; depth in credit is advantageous.
• Experience launching funds through governance processes across US and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Set the multi-year product roadmap across public and private markets.
• Own fund launches end to end from proposal to governance approval and go-live.
• Lead a global product team across Charlotte, London and Asia Pacific.
