Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Managing Director for the Financial Advisory Services team within the Office of the CFO practice. This leadership role focuses on ongoing FP&A, finance transformation, and value creation for a diverse client base, including PE-backed companies and large enterprises.

You will guide complex engagements, build capabilities, and drive go-to-market strategies while partnering with CFOs and senior executives to deliver high-impact financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10–15+ years of relevant experience, ideally with Big 4 or national accounting/consulting firm experience, corporate FP&A or finance leadership roles, and PE-backed environments.
• CPA, CMA, CFA, or similar credentials strongly preferred.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytics; strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel <25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements across FP&A and finance transformation initiatives for CFOs and PE-backed portfolios.
• Oversee end-to-end FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial modeling.
• Develop and standardize tools, dashboards, and accelerators (Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan) for performance insights.
• Drive value creation, cash management, and finance infrastructure build-out in portfolio companies.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality, timeliness and profitability.
