Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Managing Director in Forensic to shape strategy, lead high-value client engagements, and drive growth across the financial crimes practice. You will guide complex analytics, regulatory defenses, and modernization programs for global banks and fintechs.

The role demands deep leadership, a track record of originations, and excellence in technology-enabled risk management. You will mentor leaders and advance a data-driven, compliant operating model across the firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Financial Crimes Compliance, Data Analytics, and/or Regulatory Technology consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, CS, statistics, economics, or related field; master’s preferred.
• Deep regulatory and model governance knowledge (BSA/AML, OFAC, SR 11-7, OCC, NYDFS).
• Fluent with Python/SQL/R and modern cloud data platforms; strong executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Drive market origination and revenue growth with direct accountability for pipeline targets.
• Lead end-to-end proposals, RFPs, and executive presentations for high-stakes engagements.
• Oversee multi-workstream forensic investigations and complex analytics programs.
• Mentor directors and managers; recruit and develop top data science and compliance talent.
• Translate AI/ML and cloud capabilities into scalable client solutions.
