Leo Berwick is seeking a Managing Director – Financial Modeling to lead and expand our Energy and Infrastructure Financial Advisory Practice. In this leadership role, you will set the strategic direction for our financial modeling capabilities and drive innovative insights for clients.

You will oversee high-stakes M&A transactions, mentor a diverse team across geographies, and collaborate with tax, legal, and advisory colleagues to integrate models into transaction strategies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial modeling, M&A advisory, investment banking, or infrastructure finance.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity leading teams across geographies.
• CPA, CFA, MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the vision for Leo Berwick's financial modeling services, ensuring alignment with firm-wide goals and client needs.
• Client Partnership: Act as a senior advisor to clients, understanding their objectives, structuring transactions, and delivering actionable, data-driven insights.
• Modeling Oversight: Oversee creation and review of sophisticated financial models for M&A transactions, ensuring accuracy and robustness.
• Thought Leadership: Drive innovation in modeling techniques, incorporating latest tools and market best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with tax, legal, and other advisory teams to ensure models are integrated into the broader transaction strategy.
• Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous review processes to ensure models meet high quality and regulatory standards.
• Team Development: Mentor and grow a team of modeling professionals, fostering technical excellence and growth.
• Business Development: Lead efforts, identify opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and represent the firm in the market.
