Job summary

Tevora is seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead its Payments, SOC, and Federal Compliance practice areas. You will own the strategic direction, delivery quality, and P&L performance, reporting to the principal and building a scalable organization.

The role requires 10+ years in cybersecurity/risk/compliance, strong leadership, and travel up to 25%. Irvine, CA or Fairfax, VA-based with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. Master’s Degree preferred.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance consulting.
• Experience leading multiple functional teams.
• 7+ years in a leadership position, including managing a team.
• Demonstrated success hitting revenue targets.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall strategy, growth, and profitability of the Payments, SOC, and Federal Services practice areas.
• Set annual revenue, utilization, margin, and headcount goals for each practice and report progress.
• Identify regulatory trends and adapt service offerings accordingly (PCI DSS 4.0/5.0, FedRAMP, CMMC).
• Lead proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations with enterprise clients.
• Represent Tevora at industry conferences to build brand and pipeline.
• Track quality across three practices and maintain QA and risk management practices.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop consultants, managers, and directors; manage resourcing and growth.
• Collaborate with other leads, sales, marketing, and program management to align delivery.
