An established industry player is seeking an Environmental Regulatory Specialist to join their team. ERM is hiring an Environmental Regulatory Specialist . This role can be based anywhere in the United States . The ideal candidate will have a background in one of the natural sciences and experience in planning and coordinating Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) application filings for natural gas Projects.It is preferred and desired that the candidate has experience developing documents and permitting strategies for FERC. The successful candidate will offer at least 8 years of relevant experience, including experience with complex capital development projects, such as natural gas pipeline systems and liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with environmental siting and impact assessments under NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) for energy infrastructure projects, obtaining federal and state permits, plus strong technical writing, and communication skills. This opportunity is for a mid-level professional looking to advance their career with a global environmental leader, and to make a significant impact in successfully implementing ERM's global strategy.

For the Managing Consultant, Environmental Regulatory Specialist (Senior Level) position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $76,000 – $94,860 (USD). An employee’s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where compensation may be outside of the range, based on the factors noted above. This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary based performance bonus.
