Information security and Data Privacy are at the core of Anywhere, and your work will help identify, protect, and govern sensitive data for our business areas as well as internal and external customers. The Data Privacy and Compliance Analyst is responsible for assessing applications, policies, procedures, and business operations to ensure the organization meets privacy requirements and government regulations for the protection of sensitive information. Our Privacy and Compliance Analysts manage data, regulatory, and operational risks related to sensitive and critical information assets, continuously monitor business processes, and the use of applications/databases to meet or exceed privacy and security requirements.

What you will be doing?
  1. Work with business partners across the company to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations, providing guidance as needed.
  2. Analyze and determine the applicability of global and state privacy laws, regulations, and guidance, proactively addressing identified gaps.
  3. Manage the data privacy inventory of data, applications, suppliers, and business processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  4. Interpret regulations and identify ways to measure controls in place to ensure compliance.
  5. Provide internal customers with guidance on understanding regulatory standards and their impact on the business and its customers.
  6. Lead and participate in enterprise-level projects, self-assessments, and audits.
  7. Support the implementation of new automation tools to streamline programs, working with Data Privacy leaders to enhance policies, procedures, and processes.
  8. Develop, maintain, and report on KRIs, KPIs, and other risk indicators to highlight privacy risks and trends.
  9. Promote a Data Privacy culture and awareness across the company, participating in industry forums and sharing lessons learned.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
  • Experience with Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), either in vendor vetting or vendor response management.
  • Experience managing and supporting various-sized projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk Management, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience leading or supporting audits (Operational, IT, SOX), with an understanding of what auditors look for.
  • Professional certifications in Data Privacy, IT/IS, Risk Management, such as CIPP/US or CISA, are preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with GRC tools, Data Privacy platforms, and proficiency with MS Office
  • Knowledge of GDPR, NY DFS, CPRA, PCI DSS, and other data privacy regulations.
