Job summary

Ramboll is seeking Managing or Senior Managing Consultant candidates to support our global M&A Transactional Due Diligence practice in the Environment and Health department. The role involves managing complex environmental due diligence projects, Phase I ESAs, and compliance reviews for industrial facilities, with post-transaction integration support.

The role requires a strong consulting background and expertise in environmental regulations, ESG, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g., geology, environmental or chemical engineering, environmental science)
• At least 7 years of experience in Phase I ESAs and environmental compliance reviews for industrial facilities
• Experience developing proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence projects, managing project budgets and client communications
• Experience in analysis of investigation and remediation of contaminated sites
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and ESG concepts a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate environmental due diligence projects for industrial, private equity, and legal clients
• Manage and assist with environmental compliance reviews of industrial facilities
• Support clients with compliance permitting, reporting and record keeping
• Develop proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence and compliance projects, managing budgets and client deliverables
• Review site investigation reports and provide conclusions and recommendations for action
• Lead client discussions and maintain active client contact
