We are looking for a Managing Consultant with marketing automation expertise to join our expanding team. This role balances senior client leadership with team development, guiding complex customer projects, strategic marketing initiatives, and leading, mentoring, and developing a team of consultants.
Responsibilities
- Lead the organization’s marketing automation practice by setting goals, delivery standards, and ensuring day‑to‑day operations align with business objectives.
- Onboard and integrate new hires, managing role requirements, performance expectations, and long‑term retention.
- Set clear goals, deliver actionable feedback, conduct regular 1:1s, and complete annual performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment, mediating disputes and handling internal employee relations.
- Partner with Account Managers and Human Resources to proactively address and resolve client delivery issues and consultant performance gaps.
- Serve as architect and strategic advisor for client accounts, translating business objectives into scalable marketing technology solutions and campaign execution frameworks.
- Lead high‑performing delivery teams to execute MarTech initiatives on time and within scope, mitigating risks and managing senior stakeholder relationships to maximize technology ROI.
- Drive consulting delivery excellence by establishing best practices, guiding data‑driven campaign strategies, and modernizing marketing automation ecosystems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of management experience with a proven track record of success, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Deep expertise in marketing automation platforms such as Marketo Engage, Eloqua, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Proven leadership and motivation skills, with a passion for managing teams and cultivating professional growth.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to mitigate conflicts.
- Experience implementing global demand centers is preferred.
- Preferred: experience planning and executing event marketing initiatives (trade shows, user conferences, roadshows).
