McKesson is seeking a Managing Chief Counsel to serve as the principal legal advisor for Core Ventures and US Oncology Network Regulatory. The role spans transactions, governance, and health regulation across a large community oncology platform.

Responsibilities include leading legal teams, developing playbooks, and modernizing workflows to scale legal support. Strong regulatory expertise and executive communication are essential for success in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Healthcare regulatory experience including fraud and abuse laws, Stark, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA, and licensure frameworks.
• Experience leading or developing a legal team.
• Ability to explain risk and recommended paths clearly to executives and clinicians.
• Strong written and verbal communication across a matrixed organization.
• Active bar membership in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal leadership across Core Ventures operating model, including MSAs, intercompany arrangements, and amendments.
• Advise on regulatory questions for patient communications and care model programs.
• Lead and develop attorneys and legal staff; allocate work to scale with CV's growth.
• Drive continuous improvement in intake, triage, and workflow; modernize playbooks and templates.
• Partner with privacy, compliance, security, finance, procurement, IT, and operations to support decision-making.
