Job summary

McKesson's General Counsel Organization seeks a Managing Chief Counsel to serve as the principal legal advisor to Core Ventures and provide regulatory guidance for The US Oncology Network. The role spans transactions, governance, and healthcare regulation across one of the nation's largest community oncology platforms.

The successful candidate will modernize playbooks, intake, and workflows, lead a growing legal team, and partner with privacy, compliance, finance, IT, and operations to scale

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Typically 12+ years of relevant legal experience; US bar in good standing.
• Substantial healthcare regulatory experience incl. fraud & abuse, Stark, Anti‑Kickback, HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee legal operations for Core Ventures and network regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex healthcare and commercial agreements.
• Lead and develop attorneys and legal specialists; manage intake and workflows.
