Job summary

McKesson Corporation seeks a Managing Chief Counsel to serve as the principal legal advisor to Core Ventures and the US Oncology Network Regulatory. The role spans transactions, governance, data governance, and healthcare regulation across one of the largest community oncology platforms in the United States.

The successful candidate will modernize playbooks, intake, and workflows so that legal support scales with the business, while maintaining sound judgment and compliance across enterprise

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with 12+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Substantial healthcare regulatory experience including fraud and abuse laws, Stark, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA.
• Experience leading or developing a legal team and negotiating complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Core Ventures operating model, including agreements and intercompany arrangements.
• Advise on healthcare regulatory frameworks (AKS, Stark, CMS) for community oncology practices.
• Lead contract negotiations for complex commercial and healthcare services agreements.
• Drive legal operations, intake, and workflows to scale with business growth.
• Mentor attorneys and legal staff and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
